Kings Assault the Rift!

A hearty band of Kings descended into the Rift for our monthly raid event! Though tenacity and teamwork, we downed the mighty Barz and Zurm to gain access to the Eldgang Giant camp. After assisting them in driving off some orcs, we defeated Fruz to slow the assault on the Giant camp. Then, we descended into the lair of drakes and defeated Zogtark and his minions, sending them home with their tales between their legs. A great run and a lot of fun for everyone involved!
We'll be returning to the Rift for more in August. Watch for signups on our forums!
We have successfully made it out of the mighty hole that Shiko dug for us! (Anyone who wants to tank your guild rating can hire Shiko for 1 Ecto per rating point lost.) The Legendary Dragons of Ascalon, Kings Beyond the Wall's smurf guild, made it onto the Guild Ladder in excellent style. With a come from behind victory against Twinkle Twinkle Little [Star] during the Daily Tournament, we have vaulted to a 704 rank!
Thanks to all of the Alliance folks who have helped us to get here during Open GvG Nights! We are looking forward to continuing our rampage every Tuesday and Thursday. Sign up on the forums, and come join in the fun.

It has been rumoured that KING, in an attempt to mimic DRGN's success, is currently researching new capes.
It has been two months since KING was revived as a Guild Wars GvG guild. In that time, we have had some ups and downs, but we have persevered. Now, we can finally see the fruits of our labor. Last night, we managed to attain a high enough rating to be listed on the Guild Wars GvG Ladder. This is a heady moment for all of us, and I believe a well deserved "WOOT!" is in order. Everybody has put forth a herculean effort to get us this far, and hopefully we will continue to build on this success.
A hearty band of Kings descended into Helegrod to fight the scourge of Rivendell - a Nazghul! After dispatching several of his minions, we faced off against the ringwraith, defeating him soundly on our first try! Rivendell is safe again... for now.
The all King party of Harmur, Goldring, Delethelm, Belana, Jonargon and Goose completed Epic Book 5, Chapter 8 this week. Great work on this tough instance!
